You could say I had it pretty good. I had a great job in the city, surrounded by inspiring people and to top it off, I was even lucky enough to travel the world. Then I gave birth to my daughter, and suddenly my priorities changed. I was put off by the thought of commuting, being away from her for long work trips and she had ignited in me an aspiration to make the world a better place. With these big adoring eyes looking up at me, I decided to take a leap and start something I have only ever dreamed about. I wanted to show her that it is never 'too late' to trust in yourself and follow your passions.
So why jewellery? I have always loved jewellery. I truly believe that it is the best way to complete an outfit, mark a special occasion or just give yourself a little boost. I noticed that my jewellery box was filled with either pricey pieces that were rarely worn or cheaper items that would fade or turn green quickly - but there was no happy medium. That's when I made it my mission to find out more about the industry, and I came across PVD coated jewellery.
PVD is an environmentally friendly process that makes jewellery 10x stronger compared to gold plating alone. It is waterproof, sweat proof and life proof. I wanted to create a jewellery brand that uses high quality materials, that was suitable for daily wear without costing a whole pay check. And that is how, in 2024, Everyday Muses was born.
I created Everyday Muses for someone who desires quality jewellery at an affordable price. Someone who wants her jewellery to shine as much as she does all day, every day. Someone who is looking for that finishing touch to elevate that perfect outfit.
